This cream is for wrinkles!

So I am getting ready to go out and I put my face cream on and dear five yr old daughter reaches for it. I take it from her.
Here is how the rest of that went:

Me: This cream is for grown-ups.
Her: Why is it just for grown-ups?
Me: It's to help hide wrinkles.
Her: What does a wrinkle look like?
Me: Like this, see? When I smile? You can see the wrinkles.
Her: You don't need to smile mom, I can see them even when you don't smile.

sigh......

In response to your tweet . . . catching flies with chop sticks is so easy - you just have to know the secret.

Promise not to tell???

Whack them first with a fly swatter!! Works every time!

I hope you spanked her and sent her straight to her room.

(Just kidding, of course. But that's what you WANTED to do, though, right??) :)

ARGH!!!!! That's lovely! Did you let her know that she is half responsible for every wrinkle you get?

If you want to know the truth ask a kid they always say it like it is, blunt words no cover ups!

Oh my word! See. I still contend that we should teach them to lie at a very early age.

No way! No way! I loved this post. The things kids say make the best topics for blog entries!

Sometimes it is better to allow kids to lie as long as it benefits you in some way. Kids honesty is a curse sometimes.
